Introducing THE CYCLE: LIVING A TABOO Forum

Do you search the blogs to hear your own thoughts echo from the pages of another author? Seek consolation in knowing that you are not alone, that others have gone your path before you?

We are a new community- community of men and women who have gone through Assisted Reproduction Technologies without a result. We went through treatments exhausting bodies, mind, soul and wallets. We have been drowsed by emptiness and sorrow.

We had no public voice, until now.

To benefit the men and women who, like us, went through the treatment and are in the fragile stages of recovery, who seek to heal the ruptured heart and reconstruct the shattered life, who’re looking to reclaim the joy and move on to a better future, whether through adoption or living childfree, we have created an Unprecedented Public Forum THE CYCLE: LIVING A TABOO.

The purpose of the Forum is to challenge conventional wisdom and foster a new, more open dialogue about infertility. The centerpiece of the Forum will be a remarkable series of vignettes and personal stories that reflect a gamut of emotions and insights and give voice to what has been a profoundly misunderstood human experience, expressed intellectually and creatively.

The Forum will take place at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in NYC, Theatre2, on Friday, September 27, 2013, 8:00pm.

Tickets are on sale now.

If you have been following my blog, you know I’m a filmmaker working on a film about infertility. The Forum will be videotaped, and a portion of it may be used in the full- length film by the same title. For details on the Forum and the Documentary, please visit the website www.thecyclelivingataboo.com

The Forum has been created entirely through volunteer efforts of other infertility survivors. If you cannot attend, please support our efforts and help Change Media Coverage of Infertility by donating. All donations are tax deductible and will go towards completion of the full length film The Cycle: Living A Taboo.

If you have questions, or if you would like to offer us a helping hand in spreading the word or final preparation, please contact me.

Thank you, and

See you at the Forum!
